Eggs and Things
Eggs and Things is one of the most popular restaurants for tourists and locals in Waikiki. It was first opened in 1974 by Jerry and Jan Fukunaga. Today, almost 50 years later you can still enjoy their famous breakfast favorites like eggs benedict or pancakes late into the evening. Who doesn't love breakfast all day?
Giovanni's Shrimp Truck
Giovanni's started operating out of a converted 1953 bread truck without much more than a few recipes for great shrimp and an entrepreneurial spirit. We drove our beloved truck around the North Shore stopping along the side of the road for a couple hours at each stop to share what we thought was some pretty special food- turns out, we were the only shrimp truck around. Locals took notice and word began to spread about the delicious shrimp…
In 1996, we decided to park the truck at 56-505 Kamehameha highway in beautiful, historic Kahuku town. In 1997 we opened a second truck on the edge of what was then an overgrown, swampy field at 66-472 Kamehameha highway in Haleiwa town. Back then, no one wanted that land, now it's one of the busiest spots in Haleiwa! Our truck there will forever be known know as "Across the street from McDonald's". Now that we were parked, our guests started to sign our truck so they'd be sure and see their signature the next time they visited!
We started to enter national and international food show contests for our delicious and unique recipes. We have won multiple awards for our Hot & Spicy sauce and our Scampi Marinade!
Word of mouth grew from locals and tourists alike and we had to retire old Bessie and get a new truck.
In 2006, Giovanni's became such a part of the community that we purchased the land we were parked on and in 2010, we built a pavilion, so patrons and visitors could enjoy our shrimp, the weather and each other. We will be proud to serve you for the next 20 years and beyond!

The acai bowl may be a fad in the mainland, but once this delicious superfood blend was introduced in Hawaii, everyone became instantly obsessed.
There is nothing quite like enjoying an acai bowl full of acai berries, fresh fruit, granola or oatmeal, and a drizzle of honey for breakfast or as a post-hike meal. While you’ll find delicious acai bowls across the islands, our favorite comes from Haleiwa Bowls, a small, charming hut on Oahu’s north shore that serves up the best acai bowls and smoothies around. Let’s dig in.
Haleiwa Joes Seafood Grill
Through a passion for the ocean, great food, and a desire to share the stoke, friends Joe Lazar, Steve McGillin and Moe Lerner founded Haleiwa Joe’s restaurant in 1998.
Their adventures brought them to the North Shore for waves, but the Aloha spirit of sleepy Haleiwa town made them stay.
The founders believed that this Aloha spirit could be shared through a dining experience by celebrating surf legends in original memorabilia on the walls, menus boasting fresh, local ingredients and staff members that are just as talented at swimming with sharks as they are serving Mai Tais.
The Haleiwa location overlooking the ocean’s spectacular surf has become a social and culinary cornerstone for locals and visitors alike. In 2000, Haleiwa Joe’s opened a second location in Haiku Gardens on the windward side of Oahu. The open-air restaurant in this lush valley overlooks its own tropical garden and koi pond with a breathtaking view of the Ko‘olau mountain range.
WITH TWO AWESOME LOCATIONS-
Haleiwa Joe’s on the North Shore
Located in historic Haleiwa town on Oahu’s illustrious “Seven-mile Miracle,” the original Haleiwa Joe’s location boasts views of the harbor, ocean, and postcard sunsets. While the restaurant is casual enough for family dining, the food and service is fit for royalty. It is common to bump into surf celebrities and Hollywood stars dining here in the Surfing Capital of the World. This location is a notable hot spot for live entertainment and late night parties on the weekends.
Haleiwa Joe’s in Haiku Gardens
The second Haleiwa Joe’s location opened in 2000 on the windward side of Oahu in Kaneohe’s Haiku Gardens, which has a rich history. The land was sold in the mid-19th century as a royal possession to an Englishman named Bakersfield, who had quite a green thumb, planting many of the lily ponds and flowers still blooming in the gardens today.
In the Star-Advertiser’s PULSE quest for the best pau hana spots on Oahu, Haleiwa Joe’s Haiku makes the top of the list with the locals as, “one of those relaxing places that you’re happy to return to time after time.” The serenity of Haiku Gardens also makes this a popular venue for date nights, wedding parties, and special events. Sunday brunch is unique to this location and an absolute must for those who have yet to experience it.
Hard Rock Cafe
The Hard Rock Cafe is located in the heart of Waikiki with awesome views of Kalakaua ave.
This Hard rocks atmosphere is second to none, with live music almost daily.
Tons of amazing art pieces and things to look at and there is a nice Gift shop at at the entrance when you are greeted by their friendly staff.
Now not to mention the food and drinks are out of this world with happy hours every day and amazing food and drink specials.
